  2. Newfoundland, lying between Ungava Bay on the
  3. NW, the Atlantic Ocean on the E, and the

  7. sloping plateau with an irregular coastline

  9. cliffs 60 m/200 ft to 120 m/400 ft high.

  12. resources include Churchill Falls on
  13. Churchill River, where one of the world's
  14. largest underground power houses is situated.

  16. on land claimed by the Innu (or
  17. Montagnais-Naskapi) Indian people, who call
  18. themselves a sovereign nation (in 1989
